घटना भएको रात किस्मत एक शो मा सहभागी भई घर फर्किदैँ थिइन। उनको कार ड्राइभरले चलाइरहेको थियो। ड्राइभरलाई पनि गोली लागेको र उनको स्वास्थ्य स्थिति स्थिर रहेको बताइएको छ। घटना पश्चात ड्राइभरले नै किस्मतलाई अस्पताल पुर्याएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। तर रगत निकै बगिसकेको कारण किस्मतको मृत्यु भइसकेको थियो।
प्रहरीलाई दिएको बयानमा ड्राइभरले भने, ‘एक आक्रमणकारी गोली हान्दै भन्दै थियो कि किस्मत अब तँ कहिल्यै नाच्न पाउँदिनस्।’ ती आक्रमणकारी किस्मतलाई पर्खेर पहिले देखी नै थिएटरको बाहिर बसको प्रहरीले बताएको छ।

पत्रकारसंग कुरा गर्दै उनले भावनासंग भएको सेक्सलाई नराम्रो मान्न नहुने बताइन् । उनले भनिन् ‘सेक्सलाई कसले कसरी लिन्छ भन्नेमा भर पर्छ । यदी तपाई सजिलो मान्नु हुन्छ, मन मिल्छ, विश्वास गर्नुहुन्छ भने सम्वन्ध राख्नु नराम्रो होइन ।’
आफू सिंगल रहेको बताउने सुरविना बिहेअघिको शारीरिक सम्वन्धलाई बुझाईमा भर पर्ने बताउँछिन् । उनले भनिन् ‘यदी मान्छे बिहेअघि शारीरिक सम्वन्धलाई ठिकै ठान्छन् भने नराम्रो होइन ।’
‘झेली’ चलचित्रबाट नेपाली रजत पटमा उदाएकी यी नायिकाले अभिनय गरेको कुनै पनि चलचित्रले सफलता भने पाएका छैनन् । यसका लागि उनी ‘झेली’ ले झेल गरेको बताउँछिन् । हट सिन र अंतरंग दृश्यका लागि कहलिएकी सुरविना अहिले आफ्नो कुनै प्रेमी नरहेको बताउँछिन् ।
डिभोर्स पछि एक्लो जीवन विताइरहेकी सुरविना प्रेमीसंग हात मिलाएर हिड्ने रहर लाग्ने गरेको बताउँछिन् । उनी भन्छिन् ‘अहिले म करिअरका वारे चिन्तित छु । मलाई अहिले चारैतिर माया नै माया भएकाले प्रेम गर्न हतारो छैन ।’ चाडै प्रदर्शनमा आउन लागेको उनी अभिनित चलचित्र ‘चर्खा’ बाट निक्कै आश गरेकी छन् ।
