कमायो भन्नेलाई दीपकले भनेका छन्, “कस्ले भन्यो चलचित्र पैसा कमाउन बनाइन्छ? एउटा चलचित्र बनाउदा ९०% डुब्ने सम्भावना हुन्छ? केबल १०% चलचित्र मात्र सफल हुन्छन् नेपालमा १ करोडको लगानिले एउटा स्तरिय रेष्टुरेन्ट खोलेर ज़िन्दगी भरलाइ कमाउने बाटो हुन सक्थ्यो तर हामिले चलचित्र बनाएर जोखिम उठायौ, चलचित्र बनाउनु, समाजको यथार्थवाइ पर्दामा उतार्र्नु ,कबिता लेख्नु, पुस्तक लेख्नु…. पैसा कमांउन मात्र गरिएको काम हो?”
